27/08/25 -Our last pre-deadline fundraiser was an Auction of donated items held at the pub. A lively evening which was live-steamed on Facebook saw lots of bidding and the amazing total of £2,174 raised which will all go towards helping our aim buying the Sweffling White Horse! Big thanks to Trevor for organising this, Paul & Shelley for running the bar and Nick & John for parading the items. A grand total of over £4,200! An excellent achievement so many thanks to everyone who got involved in these events in any way!
22/08/25 - The King Driscolls played an beautiful gig in the pub garden for which we are extremely grateful. They managed to achieve our most successful fundraise so far with just shy of £1,100 raised. This has now enabled us to fully fund the valuation.
08/08/25 - Trevor and Shelley hosted a very successful 'bring-your-own-questions' quiz night with charcuterie and cheeseboards to keep our strength up, much hilarity was had and an incredible £900 raised.
31/07/25- The Larks held a mid-week gig in the pub and we thoroughly enjoyed the variety of their music. They kindly agreed to donate the proceeds to the group and raised just over £110
18/10/25- Many thanks to The Other Ways who held a wonderful Saturday gig which raised £82
